It is our long-time custom to gather with members of other churches in our community for worship and a light lunch at noon each Wednesday in Lent. (Suggested donation is $5.) The service on March 4 will be held at The Hub at Gainesville High School. (Enter through the lower level, not the main school doors.) full schedule of services
Please note that there will be no 12:10 PM service in our chapel during Lent. The chapel is open for private prayer from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
The deadline for Grace members to register entries in the art show is coming up on March 6. All Grace members are invited to participate in the show, which will open March 23 and run through April 30. This tradition is the way we at Grace share and celebrate the artist within each of us. more information
Grace parishioners can support COG’s Spring Fling fundraiser by purchasing raffle tickets. Each ticket is $25 and worth 4 chances to win one of four fabulous prizes. Tickets can be purchased in the preschool office or online! Drawing held on Friday, March 6. You do not need to be present to win. Learn more and purchase raffle tickets online!
Newcomers are invited to a luncheon immediately following the 10:45 AM service on Sunday, March 8 in the Parish Hall. This is our opportunity to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and further assist you in getting acclimated into the life of the parish. Come eat dinner together on Wednesday, March 4 at 5:30 PM! Sign up online, at the information station, or call the church office by noon on Monday.
Menu: baked potato & chili bar bar: cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, diced tomatoes, cilantro, onions, bacon, broccoli, shredded chicken; salad, pound cake with toppings
Vegetarian: vegetarian chili
Child: 1/2 portion regular or PB&J, cookies
Adult meals are $10/each and youth meals (grades 6-12) are $5/each. There is no charge for children 5th grade and under. Childcare is available for families participating in Wednesday evening activities, beginning with nursery for siblings of choristers at 4:45 PM. Reservations are required and can be made on the same form as meal reservations.
Parishioners interested in being confirmed, received, or reaffirmed on March 22 at the Cathedral of St. Philip must make their interest known to Grace Church no later than March 7. Email Brenda Morgan.
