Grace Church has been the Episcopal presence in Gainesville, Georgia since 1828. A faithful congregation committed to worship and service has helped sustain Grace from its initial founding until the present. We work, pray, and give to fulfill our mission of restoring all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. We invite you to be a part of our church family. Grace Church welcomes you!
In 1828, a group of Christians came to Gainesville and established an Episcopal community with a vision for the future of love, prayer, and belonging. We are grounded in the rich history of liturgy of the Anglican Communion, honoring our tradition and remaining open to the Spirit’s guidance on our lives. Worship matters to us, as do relationships and the call to embody Christ’s love in the world around us. As we approach our celebration of Grace Church’s bicentennial, we look forward to the next hundred years of spreading compassion, living in prayer, and fostering belonging in all things we do.
Come be part of our community. This is a parish that will welcome you – with open arms.
