Home Communion During Lent

Our parish-wide focus during Lent is “Wellness and Wholeness.” One of the key elements in this focus includes participation in the sacramental life of the Church. In this light, we want to extend an offer to any who are homebound, for whatever reason, to have Holy Communion brought to you at some point during the five weeks of Lent.

The clergy are assisted in this ministry by a team of trained Eucharistic Visitors. Communion brought to private homes or nursing homes comes from the same consecrated bread and wine that is offered at our in-person worship services on Sunday. Keeping this connection to our in person worship is a wonderful way to nurture healing and a strengthen a sense of wellbeing. If you are interested in receiving communion, please call the parish office 770-536-0126. We will call you and schedule a convenient time.
