The goal of the Participation cluster at Grace Church is to build and sustain a community of connected, joyful, loving and caring Christians through various offerings and activities. Below are some typical offerings, please visit our calendar to see what’s coming up!
The Parish Picnic is an annual celebration typically held every May to celebrate spring and the end of another academic year of ministry and mission by our church. Join a few hundred of your best friends to Eat, Pray & Play!
The women of Grace typically gather annually for a weekend of rejoicing, reflection, and renewal at the Montreat Retreat and Conference Center in North Carolina.
A small group of men gather at 7:00 AM on Monday mornings for coffee and conversation at Panera. Another group gathers for pub theology at Tap It every third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM. All men are warmly invited to participate.
The Grace Church Hike Group is a sub-group of Parish Life and provides an opportunity for the enjoyment of numerous outdoor events and activities. While our primary activity is hiking, we offer several events each year that do not require any hiking and are suitable for those who can’t take part in our regular hikes. The mission of the Hike Group is to appreciate, value, and respect the relationship of our outdoors with our faith for a positive impact in our lives.
Other activities include Advent wreath making, Shrove Tuesday pancake suppers, Mardi Gras celebrations, Palm Sunday Cross construction, receptions, and special outings throughout the year.
