The Grace Church Parish Picnic is returning for 2022!! We’ll gather for fellowship and good food following the 10:45 AM service on Sunday, May 22. Our theme this year is F.U.N. Family, Unity, Neighborly!
The picnic happens rain or shine! If the weather is nice, we’ll gather on the Brenau lawn. You may want to bring a hat if it’s sunny! In the event of rain we’ll have our picnic in the parish hall.
Delicious chicken and beverages will be provided. Families bring a dish to share according to an assignment based on the first letter of their last name.
I-N: Hot Side Dish (examples: mac & cheese, baked beans, scalloped potatoes, green beans)
O-Z: Cold Side Dish (examples: salads, deviled eggs, fresh fruit, veggie tray with dip)
We rotate the categories every picnic and appreciate people bringing a dish for the category assigned so that we end up with a tasty variety of food with plenty for everyone. Please drop your dish off in the parish hall kitchen the morning of the picnic. We have plenty of serving utensils, so there is no need to bring your own.
Our annual parish picnic is a wonderful opportunity to gather for fellowship, fun activities, and good food. Join us to celebrate spring and the end of another academic year of ministry and mission at Grace Church!
F.U.N. Volunteers Needed! We will need volunteers before (setting up), during (serving drinks and replenishing supplies) and after (cleaning up) the picnic. If you are available and willing to help, watch for the sign up link in your newsletter.
