About Ava Pakiam
At just 16 years old, Ava Pakiam has already established herself as a highly sought-after soloist and recitalist. Currently residing in the Bay Area, she studies with renowned violin professor Simon James.
Ava made her orchestral solo debut at the age of eight, performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with the Fremont Symphony. Later that same summer, she appeared as soloist in Vivaldi’s Winter Concerto with the Sempre Musik Orchestra and the New York Sinfonietta in performances in Boston and New York City, culminating in her solo debut at the iconic Carnegie Hall. Since then, she has continued to earn recognition for her exceptional musicianship and expressive performances.
About Cole Anderson
Dr. Cole Anderson is an innovative and compelling pianist whose artistry draws inspiration from the freedom, imagination, and expressive traditions of the great pianists of the early twentieth century.
Known for his distinctive approach to performance, Anderson seeks to move beyond the overtly technical style often associated with contemporary classical music. His playing emphasizes the natural beauty, color, and emotional depth of the piano, creating performances that are both deeply personal and engaging for audiences.
