A group of parishioners met on Wednesday evenings to read and share poetry and stories of poets. A theme of the evenings has been slowing down, and how poetry can create a space to slow down and listen more carefully within and without.

For our last gathering on Wednesday, November 28 we invite one and all and everyone to stay in the parish hall after dinner, get a cup of special coffee or tea, and settle in to listen to poems. If you play an instrument or sing please bring that, too, and offer a gift of music into the evening. All are invited to bring poems or stories they would like to share in a Thanksgiving of words and images. The parish hall will already be decorated for the upcoming Advent season, so do come and move into the quiet of poetry.
