Outreach Spotlight: The Hub
This article is part of a series spotlighting nonprofit organizations that receive funding through our Grace Church Outreach Ministry. We seek to partner with organizations that work to make a meaningful difference in one or more of the following areas:
- Supporting individuals experiencing poverty and housing insecurity
- Expanding access to essential services for underserved populations
- Advancing community health and wellness
- Increasing the availability of educational opportunities
One of these organizations is The Hub.

The Hub is a centralized resource center, located in Gainesville High School, dedicated to providing wraparound services that support students and their families. Our mission is to eliminate barriers to emotional well-being, academic success, and overall stability.
By partnering with community organizations, school-based support systems, and private donors, we focus on three key areas:
- Overcoming Challenges
- Academic and Workforce Development
- Mental and Behavioral Health Services
We strive to:
- connect students, families, schools, and community resources to address basic needs, including food insecurity, housing support, clothing, laundry, and transportation
- facilitate academic and workforce development opportunities to empower students with the skills they need for future success
- provide access to mental and behavioral health services, ensuring students and families receive the support they need to thrive
