Registration for our annual Women’s Retreat is now open! Join us for a weekend of rejoicing, reflection, and renewal January 14-16, 2022. We’ll once again enjoy the beauty and hospitality of the Montreat Retreat and Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina. This year’s theme is Connections, and together we’ll work on reconnecting all of the pieces that may seem scattered these days. We’ll look specifically at ways to (re)connect with ourselves, with one another, and with God, and see how the Biblical Women who have come before us led the way. Come join us and bring a friend!
The Men’s Ministry kick off event, Spirits for the Spiritual, is Friday, September 10 at 7:00 PM. Sign up was requested by Friday, September 3. If you missed the chance to sign up but would like to attend, contact Dave Westfall to see if there is still room!
Children’s Chapel will not meet on Sunday, September 5.
Christian Education classes will not meet on Sunday, September 5.
The parish office will be closed on Monday, September 6.
Although we were tentatively planning to resume Wednesday evenings together on September 8, we are also very aware of the increasing cases of Covid in our area. It is important to be careful with shared meals indoors, for adults and especially for children.
With that in mind, we will begin Wednesday evening opportunities on September 22 with an open-house/meet-and-greet with Lynn Swanson at 5:00 PM. Dinner will be available beginning at 5:30 and will be packaged to go! Feel free to take your meal(s) home or bring blankets or chairs and find a spot outside to eat and socialize!
