Grace looks forward to welcoming several guest preachers to services while Fr. Stuart is on sabbatical. If you missed Rev. Farr’s sermon last Sunday, you can listen on our website and on Spotify. Our next guest preacher, the Rev. Dr. Bill Harkins, will join us May 31 for Trinity Sunday.
Bill Harkins practices psychotherapy and marriage and family therapy at the Cathedral Counseling Center in Atlanta. He serves as psychological health faculty for Episcopal CREDO and Columbia Seminary’s “Ministering to Ministers” program. An Approved Supervisor (AAMFT), Diplomate (AAPC), and ACPE Psychotherapist and Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy Trainer, he also holds a certificate in Jungian psychotherapy.
An ordained Episcopal priest, he has served in parish ministry and taught pastoral theology and counseling at Vanderbilt, Emory, and Columbia Theological Seminary, where he co-directed a doctoral program in pastoral psychotherapy. He holds degrees from Rhodes College (B.A.) and Vanderbilt (M.Div., Ph.D.). A published author, he recently co-authored The Wilderness of Friendship, based on 40 years of friendship with colleagues from Vanderbilt Divinity School.
Bill is married to Dr. Vicky Harkins; they have two sons and four grandchildren. A longtime runner, he has completed 49 Peachtree Road Races. He enjoys trail running, playing the piano, writing, and family time.
As evenings get longer and the breeze gets warmer, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a Sunday Supper! On Sunday, June 21 we’ll savor the Summer Solstice with an intergenerational activity and dinner together at 6 PM.
Chicken tenders will be provided, please bring a side or dessert. For food planning purposes please sign up on our website by Sunday, June 14.

Cost is $25 for the first child, $20 each additional child.
VBS at GraceYou are invited to participate in Charis Circles this summer! Join us at 10:30 AM on June 17 and July 15. Please contact Meg McPeek, Assistant for Formation and Community Life, with any questions.
The goal of Community of Hope International (COHI) is to provide training and support to equip its lay chaplains to serve Christ in the Other—safeguarding love wherever we find ourselves. If you are interested in learning more, please stop by the parlor after the 10:45 AM service on June 7. Current members will be happy to answer questions.
