COHI Discernment Period Begins Now

Anyone seeking new ways to serve, or interested in an intentional community to support the ways you are already serving, is invited to spend the next two months considering if the Benedictine-steeped Community of Hope International (COHI) might be a calling. The Community of Hope is first of all a praying community – modeled on principles of Benedictine spirituality espoused first by St. Benedict, a sixth century monastic whose “Rule” has for over 1500 years guided people all around the world to live balanced lives through practices rooted in humility and hospitality. Benedict’s goal was “to safeguard love.”

Grace Church Summer Choir

A pick-up choir will help lead Sunday worship every week June-August. Please email Will Gotmer for more information if you are interested in participating. Rehearsals will be held Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. Previous choir participation is not necessary.

Mark Your Calendars

Mark your calendars for our annual Day in the Mountains & Picnic Lunch at Vogel State Park in Blairsville on Saturday, July 31. Since 2004 Grace Church has gathered at the end of the summer to enjoy the cooler mountain air next to Trahlyta Lake for lunch, fellowship, and outdoor fun. Located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest, with an elevation of 2,500 feet, Vogel is a great spot to spend a hot summer day.

Complete details can be found here and please let Jeremy Landers know if you are coming by Sunday, July 25. Hope to see you at Vogel!
