News for June 2-8

Guest Preacher

Our guest preacher on Sunday, June 2 will be the The Rev. Canon John Bolton. As Canon Chaplain for the Diocese of Atlanta, Canon Bolton partners with the bishops to provide pastoral support for clergy and their families, particularly in times of transition and crisis, and among clergy whose ministry is geographically remote and isolating

We look forward to his visit to Grace Church.

Summer Women’s Study

Please mark your calendars for our summer Women’s Study on June 5, June 19, July 10, and July 24 from 6:00-8:00 PM. We’ll gather in one another’s homes to explore women of the Bible, and share a time of learning, fellowship, and fun.

Our first meeting will be held at the home of Julie Rossi. We will study Eve. For fun, we’ll have an accessory swap (no fig leaves, please!) – please bring a scarf, belt, bag, hat, necklace, bracelet, or other item you’d like to trade.

For more info contact Cheryl Kelley.

VBS Almost Full

At the time this post was published, there were just 7 spots remaining for Grace Church’s 2019 VBS!

Kids in rising PreK-5th grade are invited to join us for Who Is My Neighbor?, June 24-28 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Who Is My Neighbor? invites children to discover God’s love as they learn about neighbors near and far.

Parenting Therapy Group

“Parenting from the Inside Out”, the Internal Family Systems Therapy Group scheduled to meet at Grace Church beginning June 4, does not have enough participants to move forward at this time. Look for information about a possible group forming in the fall. Contact Cheryl Kelley with questions.
