News for July 7-13

VBS Service Project

Our VBS service project this summer was collecting food to prepare PIN (“person in need”) bags for people seeking emergency assistance from the Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of our parish community, they donated 60 bags/890 pounds of food to the Georgia Mountain Food Bank. Thank you!

Women’s Summer Study

Our summer Women’s Study will continue on July 10 and July 24 from 6:00-8:00 PM. We are gathering to explore women of the Bible, and share a time of learning, fellowship, and fun. On July 10 we will meet at 850 Holly Drive to learn more about Ruth. For more info call the parish office at 770-536-0126.

Movie Night

Grace adults gather each month in the Youth Room to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a wide variety of subjects. A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. We always have a good time and lively discussion-join us at 7:00 PM this Friday, July 12.
