Annual Meeting Save the Date

With so many details to consider in these days, the vestry felt it would be wise to give ourselves a bit more time to prepare the budget and gather vestry nominees. To that end, our Annual Parish Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00 PM on Zoom. A link will be posted online and sent out soon.

Also, don’t forget that the parish will elect four new vestry members from a slate of eight. The election will be by mail this year, and ballots will be mailed to every household on record after the first of the year. We will send out more specific instructions after Christmas, but save the date now for this crucial Annual Meeting.

Altar Flowers

Altar flowers enhance the beauty of our Sunday livestream service. Donations to the altar flower fund can be given in memory of or in thanksgiving for family members, friends and loved ones. Notice of your donation will be printed in the church newsletter and the Sunday service bulletin on the date of your choosing.

Please submit both the online form and your donation at least 7 days prior to your selected date. Your contribution may be made by check or credit card online. Please select “Flower Fund” as the contribution type. You can also mail a check (made out to Grace Church with “altar flowers” in the memo line) to Grace Episcopal Church, 422 Brenau Avenue, Gainesville, GA 30501.

Please make note that the link to the online altar flower form is permanently located in the footer of every newsletter issue.
