On Sunday, April 7, the youth will offer Cakes and Casseroles in the Parish Hall! A selection of delicious smaller portioned items, ideal for couples and singles, will be available for parishioners to purchase from 7:30 until 8:15 AM. Examples include a half-size pineapple & cheese casserole, half-size egg & sausage casserole, and individually wrapped slices of banana bread or caramel spice muffins.
The silent auction will begin around 9:00 AM and bidding will close at 10:30 AM. Please note that this is a little different than in past auctions – to give people not attending the late service an opportunity to participate. So, make sure to place your best and final bid by 10:30 AM!
This year, some items (including a BBQ brisket, lemon pound cake, and a Kahlua chocolate cake) will also be available in the form of orders to be filled anytime in 2019. Submit the winning bid now and have your casserole, pie, or cake prepared for you, at a mutually agreed upon date, later in the year!
Please come out and help support our youth. Save yourself some kitchen labor as you stock up on delicious treats!
No CE classes will meet on Sunday, April 7. All are invited to come make palm crosses together in the parish hall.

The Aeolians of Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL will give a concert at Grace Church on Friday, April 12 at 7:00 PM. The concert is free of charge and all are welcome!
The Aeolians was originally organized in 1946 by the late Dr. Eva B. Dykes. Since its inception, the choir has traveled widely, touching the hearts of both young and old with their inspirational singing. Aeolian concerts present a repertoire of choral music which ranges from the Baroque era to the twentieth century. Moreover, the Aeolians is an authoritative exponent of Negro spirituals and work songs which express the yearnings of our forefathers to be free.
They have won a host of awards including World Choir Games Spirituals Champions, Four-Peat HBCU Choir of the Year and Choir of the World Champions 2017.
If you would like to make a donation for Easter flowers, submit the online form and your contribution (minimum of $25 requested) no later than Friday, April 12. Payment may be made online, dropped in the offertory plate, or mailed to the church office at 422 Brenau Avenue, Gainesville, GA 30501.
