Grace Choir Invites You to be a Part of Our New Season

The first rehearsal of the 2023-24 season will be Wednesday, August 30. A meet & greet at 6:30 PM will be followed by a time to collect new music for the fall semester. Rehearsal is generally 7:00 – 9:00 PM every Wednesday. Our exceptional choir provides music for the 10:45 AM service each Sunday from September to May.

We are also looking forward to providing several Choral Evensongs this year in preparation for our choir to serve as Choir-in-Residence at Exeter Cathedral in England in August of 2024. In addition, we will prepare for our traditional Lessons & Carols service on December 3, present a masterwork with chamber orchestra for our 10:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass, and host our third annual community-wide Messiah Sing Along with professional orchestra and soloists on December 17.

Please email me with any questions you may have. We hope to see you in the loft!

Director of Music

Summer Sunday Forum

Please join us for our final session of the August Sunday Forum. We will gather August 27 at 9:30 AM in the Parish Hall to hear from Gateway House and Sacred Roots. These two community partners are helping women suffering violence in 2 very different ways. Come hear about their compelling work in our community and how Grace is supporting their efforts.

Children’s Chapel Update

We are expanding the age range for children’s chapel! Children age 3 through 2nd grade are invited to participate. We are also moving the location back to room 109 of The Grace Center.

Please note there is no Children’s Chapel on September 3.

Save the Date: Parish Feast Day

We will observe our annual parish feast day: the Feast of the Holy Cross on Sunday, September 17. In addition to services at 8:15 and 10:45 AM, there will be a continental breakfast at 9:00 AM, followed by CE for all ages from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Please mark your calendar and make plans to be here!

Summer Food & School Supply Drives

Our school supply and directed food drives wrap up at the end of the month! If you have items to donate, please bring them with you to church this Sunday or Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

The food drive is collecting:

  • canned fruit and vegetables
  • juice boxes
  • individually wrapped, non-perishable snack items – such as granola bars, chips, pretzels, crackers, cookies, fruit cups, nuts, trail mix, etc.

The supply drive is collecting:

  • school supplies such as pencils, notebooks, glue sticks, crayons, markers, zip lock bags, disinfectant wipes, tissue, etc
  • disposable pull-up style undergarments to fit 6-8 year old children

Good News at Noon

A dedicated and enthusiastic group of volunteers from Grace Church have been responsible for preparing and serving the noon meal at Good News at Noon mission every Tuesday since 1987. If this ministry interests you, please let us know!

Grace Center Access During Construction

Most of the interior of The Grace Center will remain open during construction, but at present is only accessible via the connector corridor from the main campus. Doors are blocked for entry, and should only be used for exit in the event of an emergency. Some parking is still available in the lot next to the Grace Center, but you will need to walk down the sidewalk and enter the building through the St. Francis Garden.

The “front desk” of the parish office is currently located in the greeting area. If you need to visit the office please enter the building through the St. Francis Garden. If you are stopping by to see a certain staff member we recommend calling ahead, as there may be days when the majority of the staff are working remotely. Unless otherwise noted, the front desk in the greeting area will be staffed Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
