Coro Vocati in Concert

Grace Church Friends of Music welcomes Coro Vocati on Sunday, April 14 at 4:00 PM. Their spring concert, Journey Together, explores key themes that make up the human experience and tie us together, like friendship, sorrow, love and loss. Concert is free; a reception will follow in the parish hall.

Coro Vocati is an ensemble of professional singers based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a mission to create music at the highest level of choral artistry. Founded in 2009, the choir has established itself as one of the premier professional choral ensembles in the southeast, featuring some of the region’s most talented vocalists with polished performances celebrating unique and intriguing programming.

Sunday Forum: Life Together

This Sunday, April 14, we will begin a new Sunday Forum laying Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s work Life Together alongside the insights from the Enneagram, the ancient tool that explores personality and spiritual types. This conversation can offer us a helpful and grounded approach to navigating the stresses we feel, with a keen eye toward hope with the Spirit’s presence in our lives. Join us in the parish hall at 9:30 AM on Sundays.

Bicentennial Stories: Emma Williams

Our next Bicentennial Story (which was filmed last summer) has been published. Emma Williams has been a member of Grace all her life and two of her earliest memories include locked doors and bee-stings at COG preschool! As a teenager, youth group and pilgrimage played a vital role in shaping her views on her community, her journey, and her faith. This parish has been a consistent home for her through many life changes and she knows Grace is a place she will always be able to come back to, no matter where life takes her in the future.

Add Your Story to the Collection!

Our effort to collect an oral history of personal experiences at Grace is one of the ways we are honoring the past, celebrating the present, and preparing for the future as we look to celebrate our upcoming 200th birthday. ALL members of the parish are invited to add their stories to our collection, whether you’ve been here 30 years or 30 days!

Perhaps you have a very specific story to tell about an event or memory. Or you may want to talk more generally about your connection to the parish and what it means to you. You can come tell your story by yourself or in collaboration with a friend or family member. We hope you will consider participating. Please email Cynthia to schedule a time to come chat this spring or summer!

Graduate Recognition

Grace Church will honor graduates during the 10:45 AM service on Sunday, May 19!

If you will graduate (or have a child graduating) this spring/summer, please submit the online information form before 9:00 AM on Monday, May 13 to be included in the recognition slideshow.
