Each year, Friends of Music hosts top-tiered soloists and ensembles while supporting special liturgies to help enrich the musical life of our parish and our community.

The Grace Church parish choir will offer Evensongs on May 19 and June 9, in preparation for their residency at Cathedral Church of St. Peter in Exeter, England from August 5-11, 2024.

Founded in 2001 by Atlanta Symphony Orchestra violinist Ronda Respess. The Franklin Pond Players are all members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and are on the faculty of Franklin Pond Chamber Music. Franklin Pond Chamber Music is committed to educating and empowering young musicians in performance, communication, and leadership through year-round chamber music. FPCM develops the artistic and interpretive talents of its students while building valuable life skills in the process. Students have regular coaching sessions with faculty members from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Opera, masterclasses with internationally renowned guest artists, special courses such as eurhythmics and Alexander Technique, and a diverse array of performance opportunities. In the broader community, Franklin Pond promotes classical music by offering performances of the highest quality, workshops, master classes and special programs designed to engage, educate and inspire music lovers of all ages. Georgia Boy Choir was founded in 2009 under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor, David R. White, the Georgia Boy Choir has quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest Choirs of its kind. The purpose of the Georgia Boy Choir is to achieve the highest possible standard of musical excellence, while instilling in its members a life-long appreciation of music; an abiding love of beauty; a keen sense of respect for themselves and others; and the self-discipline necessary to become effective leaders in their families, their communities and the world.
Sunday, December 15 at 3 PM
The fourth annual Messiah Sing Along at Grace Church is Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 PM. Come listen to professional soloists sing the arias, then stand to join your voices together for the choruses. There is no cost to attend, although we will again ask that all participants bring one non-perishable item for donation to the Gainesville-Hall Community Food Pantry. All ages and musical abilities are welcome. There will be a reception in the parish hall following the sing along.

Lux was formed three years ago as an auditioned treble chorus in Northeast Georgia.
Lux, lūx (n.), light ~ From the Latin for “light,” Lux was born out of a need for beautiful treble music to bring light into this difficult and sometimes dark world. Emily Allison and Ashley Conway, Conductors. “We” is the program concert title of their 2024-25 season.
