The Grace Church nave is located at the corner of Washington Street and Boulevard in Gainesville, Georgia.

The parish office, open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, is located at 422 Brenau Avenue. Come to the red door that faces Brenau Avenue and ring the bell for access.

Messiah Sing Along

Join your voice with professional musicians at Grace Episcopal Church to sing Christmas portions of Messiah by G. F Handel! The sing along is Sunday, December 19 at 4:00 PM.

Your ticket for admission is one non-perishable item for donation to the Gainesville-Hall Community Food Pantry.

You may join in the singing or just come and listen to the music. If you are singing and have your own music score you are invited to bring it. We will have copies for you to borrow if needed.

A reception will follow in the Grace Church parish hall. All are welcome!

Things to Know

Grace Church is located at the corner of Boulevard NE and Washington St SE in Gainesville. map

Parking is available in two lots located off Brenau Avenue, with handicap spaces in the lot at the corner of Brenau Avenue and Boulevard. Free street parking is also available.

Doors open at 3:30 PM for this event. You may enter through the main church doors facing Boulevard, though our St. Francis Garden (handicap accessible) at the corner of the Brenau/Boulevard corner parking lot, or via the small stairway at Washington Street. Click here for an interactive map of parking and entrances.

Children are invited to attend and participate in the Messiah Sing Along. For families who prefer it, a nursery will be available for children age 4 and under. Please ask an usher for directions to the children’s wing.

Assistive listening devices are available for those who are hearing-impaired. There are also cushions available to make the wooden pews a bit more comfortable. Please ask an usher for assistance.


About the Food Pantry

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers established for the purpose of assisting local families and individuals who are in need of food.  We have provided groceries for the hungry since 1973, serving an average of 2,400 families a year.  We are one of many food pantries in the city of Gainesville that provide groceries.
