On September 17, we will continue our annual celebration of the Feast of the Holy Cross as a way to celebrate our life as a parish community, keeping in mind our connection with the rich history of Christianity itself. This celebration will give us an opportunity each year to come together in worship and prayer, baptizing those who are seeking to join the Body of Christ in our particular parish, and remembering our common life as part of, as we say in the Nicene Creed, the "one, holy, catholic and apostolic church." This year, we are grateful to have the Rt. Rev. Don Wimberly, the Assisting Bishop of the Diocese of Atlanta, with us!
September 17 will also be Homecoming Sunday, a great time for folks to come back to Grace and celebrate our history and our Bicentennial plans. We will recognize people during the service who were baptized and married at Grace, and folks who have experienced other key moments in the parish's history through themselves or their families. Join us for our Homecoming reception beginning at 9:15 AM!
