Compassion Camp

As we look around the world, what becomes clearer each day is our deep need for compassion – now more than ever. Compassion Camp is a five session program for families and folks of all ages who want to explore what it means to cultivate compassion for each other, ourselves, and the world. Each week, we’ll release videos that introduce the week’s theme, the Bible story, music, movement, crafts, games and activities. There will also be a list of supplemental materials related to the theme to enhance the experience for all ages.

The sessions will cover:

  • Compassion as welcome to the Table, Luke 15:11-32
  • Compassion to the neighbor, Mark 2:1-12
  • Compassion for ourselves, Mark 12:28-31
  • Compassion along the way, Ruth 1:1-22
  • Compassion with the world, Leviticus 25

Video links and a take home kit with craft supplies and printed materials to accompany each session will be provided to registered participants and in-person check-in times will be scheduled.

Email Director of Christian Formation Cheryl Kelley for information.

Children’s Chapel

Each week Ms. Cheryl shares stories related to the weekly Bible readings, and prayers from Children’s Chapel. The link to the video recording, as well as other Faith@Home resources are emailed each week. Email Director of Christian Formation Cheryl Kelley to be added to the list!
