CE This Week
Here's what's happening in Christian Education classes:
Sunday Forum
The Sunday Forum is taking a look at "Living the Questions 2.0," a new DVD series that is generating lots of interest. Living the Questions 2.0 is the latest offering of LtQ, an ecumenical effort to bring together, nurture and equip “thinking Christians” – described as those whose questions about God and faith sometimes makes them feel like “outsiders.” Each class stands on its own; previous preparation is not required.
The Seekers
The Seekers are reading and discussing essays from "This I Believe."
Adult Inquirer's Class Begins This Sunday, January 22
The 2012 Adult Inquirer’s Class will begin meeting this Sunday, January 22. The class provides an opportunity to explore some of the basics of Christianity and the Episcopal way. The class concludes at Easter and leads to some participants being presented to a bishop of our church in order to fulfill the requirements for full adult membership. This year, the Inquirer’s will join the Sunday Forum in the Parish Hall for the Living the Questions video segment and then move to the Parlor for discussions specific to the Inquirer’s. Helpful for newcomers to the Episcopal Church, the Adult Inquirer’s Class is open to all interested adults.
