Thanks
The children were excited to return to a newly renovated
preschool in September. They made beautiful
church art as a gesture of thanks to the
church for
all the hard work, time, and money spent on the renovation.
Open
House
Moms, dads and kids gathered at the school for an Open House on
Thursday evening, September 25. The children loved the chance to
show off their classrooms and their artwork.
The
"P" Party
The Pre-K classes enjoyed a pajama, putt- putt,
Peter Pan, pizza, pink lemonade party
on Friday, September 26! (They were learning about the letter P
all week...)
Visit
from a Fire truck
A fire truck visited COG on Wednesday, November 5. The fireman
talked to the children about fire safety, tried on their gear
and let the kids climb through the truck!
Christmas
Program
The children entertained a packed house before refreshments and
fellowship in the Parish Hall. A visit from Santa Clause was a
highlight of the evening.
Mother
Goose and Dr. Seuss
Mother Goose visited COG on March 1. She taught the children
some new rhymes and songs. Afterwards the Pre-K kids stayed to
celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday!
Spring
Fling The 2004 Spring Fling had a Luau Theme and raised
money towards the purchase of new classroom supplies.
Easter
Parade
The children made their costumes and followed a huge chocolate
bunny in COG's Easter Parade. It was worth waiting for good
weather - the kids were adorable and had lots of fun.
