2019 Annual Parish Meeting

All parishioners are encouraged to attend the Annual Parish Meeting of Grace Episcopal Church on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.

Adults and older youth (9th - 12th grade) will gather at 5:30 PM in the parish hall for dinner and fellowship. Committee heads will offer updates on the Bicentennial Capital Campaign and Fr. Stuart will thank outgoing vestry and officers.

  • MENU: grilled flank steak with orange marmalade or vegetable primavera with linguini, winter root vegetables, wild rice, rolls, salad, assorted pies  ($12/person)

Food and fun will be provided beginning at 5:30 PM for children 4 and under in the nursery and PreK-8th graders in the youth room. A free pizza dinner will be served.

Reservations are required during the dinner hour. Call the parish office at 770-536-0126, sign up at the information station in the connector corridor, or make a reservation online no later than noon on Monday, January 28.

We will move into the nave for the meeting following dinner, approximately 6:30 PM. Come hear key reports of parish business. Hank Houser, our architect, will be on hand to offer a brief reflection on his process for a campaign. As well, Dale Jaeger will make a brief presentation about the landscape design portions of the campaign.

We will also elect four new vestry members. Brian Bowron, Amy Bussler, JoAnn Manring, Frank Rinker, Jennifer Romberg, Gail Sargent, Dan Scott, and Mike Whitmire have been nominated and certified as qualified to serve. Learn more about them below. Confirmed parishioners age 16 and up are eligible to vote.

You are welcome to attend just the meeting without eating dinner. Nursery and childcare will be provided. Reservations are not required.
